There was reason to celebrate this month at Firestone Complete Auto Care’s first store grand opening of 2018 in Cross Roads, Texas. Bridgestone Retail Operations opened the newest Firestone Complete Auto Care retail tire and automotive service location in the Dallas suburb on March 2nd, joining more than 235 Firestone Complete Auto Care stores across the Lone Star State.
Cross Roads mayor Steve Smith attended the grand opening and spoke during the ribbon-cutting ceremony. He was joined by several local dignitaries, including the town councilman, county commissioner, and representatives from the Governor’s office and Aubrey Chamber of Commerce.
After the ribbon cutting, families enjoyed a variety of activities—most notably, watching the iconic monster truck Bigfoot’s two car crush performances! Dallas Cowboys fans were excited to meet Tony Casillas, a former player, who celebrated the event, signed autographs, and took pictures with attendees.

Firestone Complete Auto Care manager Gary Hewitt presented local law enforcement and firefighters with a contribution to acknowledge and thank them for their service to the Cross Roads community. Tom Auble, BSRO Central Division Vice President, presented Mike Simpson, Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County CEO, with a $10,000 donation as part of the company’s national Driving Great Futures partnership with the organization. This donation will help the Collin County clubs provide a safe, productive environment for local kids and teens during critical out-of-school hours.
